Burned by
Offshore Before?

Try a $5K PoC first. See our code before you commit.

SaaS founders and CTOs across Singapore have been through the same experience: a vendor that looked good in the proposal, delivered something unusable, and left with your money. We understand why you don't trust anyone right now. That's exactly why we built an engagement model where you don't have to.

Before & after

What “burned by offshore” looks like.
And what we do differently.

These aren’t hypothetical failure modes. They’re patterns LLL was specifically built to prevent — because the SaaS CTOs and founders who work with us told us exactly what went wrong before.

What went wrong before
The Offshore Experience
Radio silence for two weeks, then a demo that didn’t match the spec. No commits. No visibility. Nothing to show for it.
The lead developer you evaluated was replaced by a junior after signing. The person who impressed you in the call never touched your code.
You paid 100%. The deliverable was partial. They claimed the scope changed. You had no documentation proving otherwise.
Timezone meant every question took 24 hours to get a response. A two-minute clarification became a two-day blocker.
When you tried to exit, they held the code hostage or delivered source that was so tangled you couldn’t maintain it without them.
▲ How LLL works
Every LLL Engagement
Daily commits visible to you on GitHub from Day 1. You see the work happening in real time — no black box.
The engineers on your PoC call are the engineers on your project. LLL is in-house, no subcontracting. The team you evaluate is the team you get.
$5K PoC: you see working software in 2 weeks before any larger commitment. Scope agreed in writing. Price fixed. No overruns.
GMT+8 — same timezone. Real-time Slack during your working hours. A two-minute clarification is a two-minute Slack message, not a 24-hour delay.
Code is yours from Day 1. Every commit, every sprint. If you stop at any point, you leave with everything built to that moment. No hostage code.
Three SaaS trust blockers

Why SaaS founders don’t
trust dev vendors. And why that’s completely reasonable.

These are not generic concerns. They are specific, documented failure modes that Singapore SaaS founders have experienced — and each has a structural prevention mechanism built into LLL’s model.

01
The fear
“The last vendor gave me a beautiful proposal, passed the technical screen, and then I didn’t see working software for 6 weeks.”
→ The prevention
Weekly demos of running software from Week 1. Not screenshots. Not Figma mockups. Working code in your browser, every Friday. If you don’t see working software by the end of Week 1, the sprint isn’t passing the exit gate.
02
The fear
“I can’t tell if they’re actually building or stalling. I get a status update on Slack but I have no idea what’s happening in the codebase.”
→ The prevention
Read-only GitHub access from Day 1. You see every commit, every branch, every PR. LLL engineers commit daily — there’s always something to look at. If you want to run the code locally, you can. Visibility is not optional, it’s structural.
03
The fear
“I’ve committed to a 6-month contract. If this goes sideways in Month 2, I’m locked in. I can’t afford another bad vendor relationship.”
→ The prevention
Start with a $5K, 2-week PoC. No contract beyond the PoC until you’ve seen the output. If you’re not impressed, walk away — the code is yours. For ongoing work, exit gates at every sprint. No 6-month lock-in. No penalty clause.
Every sprint, documented

The QA process that
prevents failures.

Trust isn’t built by claiming to be trustworthy. It’s built by making the work visible and putting gates in place that prevent the failures you’ve experienced before.

The proof of engineering quality

We build our own SaaS.
Same team. Same standards.

Any vendor can claim quality. Very few have a production SaaS product they built themselves with the same team that will build yours. We do.

Fortrain — AI Security SaaS in Production. Built by LLL.

Fortrain (AI-powered targeted security training for enterprise) is built and operated by the same engineers who will work on your SaaS. We ship to production every week. We run a real release process, deal with real production incidents, and maintain real enterprise clients. When we review your architecture decisions, we’re applying the same standards we hold our own product to. If we cut corners on your code, we’re cutting the same corners we’d cut on ours. That doesn’t happen — because Fortrain is our reputation.

FAQ

Questions that a SaaS CTO who’s been burned before should be asking. If you have a question that isn’t here, it’s a good sign — ask it in the form.

Yes — for a tightly scoped feature or MVP. The key is “tightly scoped.” The PoC call is where we agree what specifically gets built in 2 weeks. Not everything. One well-defined, working feature you can test, show investors, or validate with users. If you give us a vague spec and expect a complete product in 2 weeks, we’ll tell you honestly that won’t work — and suggest a scope that does.
LLL is an in-house team. We do not subcontract. There is no network of freelancers we “manage” — the engineers on your PoC call are the engineers on your project. This is one of the structural differences between LLL and agencies that present senior staff for evaluation and then assign juniors for execution. You can ask to see the GitHub profiles of the engineers who will work on your project before signing anything.
The code is yours. Always. From Day 1 of the PoC, every commit is in a repository you control (or is transferred to one immediately on request). If you stop after the PoC, you walk away with everything built. No hostage code, no “you need us to maintain this” leverage. The IP agreement is explicit: everything built for you is yours, regardless of whether you continue.
Scope is agreed in writing before any payment. If we don’t deliver what was agreed, we either fix it or refund the relevant portion — the specific terms are documented in the PoC agreement. This isn’t a vague promise; it’s a written scope you can point to. The weekly demos exist precisely so scope misalignment gets caught at Week 1, not at Week 2 handover.
$5K is the full cost. No setup fees, no “infrastructure costs,” no separate billing for project management. The $5K covers 2 weeks of engineering, daily code review, weekly demos, and the NDA. If you want to add scope beyond what was agreed, that’s a new conversation — and it gets agreed in writing with a new price before any extra work begins.
Three structural differences — not claims. (1) Daily commits visible to you: you see the work happening, there’s no black box. (2) Exit gates every sprint: you can stop any sprint with zero penalty, code transfers immediately. (3) In-house team, no subcontracting: the engineers you evaluate are the engineers who build. The $5K PoC exists specifically so you can verify all three of these before any larger commitment. We earn trust by demonstrating it, not by asking you to extend it.
